Borde Hill – 16th September 2018

I will be exhibiting at Borde Hill near Haywards Heath.  This estate is celebrating 125 years and the house and gardens are looking fantastic.  Along with other nurseries there will be plenty to see and do, a great day out.

Sussex Prairies Unusual Plant & Garden Fair

I will be exhibiting at the fantastic Sussex Prairies Garden at Henfield, BN5 9AT on September Sunday 3rd, 11am-5pm.

There is a wide range of specialist nurseries, arts and craft work to see and buy.  For more information go to www.sussexprairies.co.uk It is a wonderful garden to explore and see the vast range of prairie plants.

The Walled Nursery, Hawkhusrt – Sunday 27th August 2017

I will be next exhibiting at the beautiful Walled Nursery, Hawkhurst, TN18 5DH.  There will be other specialist nurseries exhibiting and selling their wonderful plants. The Walled Nursery is a fantastic venue, with historical green houses and old wall, with new cafe facilities.  The owners, Emma and Monty are really enthusiastic plant people.  Opens at 11am – 4pm.

Burwash Gardener’s Question Time – May 11th 2017

Burwash Horticultural Society are hosting a local gardener’s question time at Burwash Village Hall, 11th May 2017, at 7pm.  Free admission and refreshments available.  A panel of local nursery men and a member from Batemen’s National Trust will answer as many questions regarding your gardens.

Firle Place Garden Show 21-23 April 2017

Sussex Fruit Trees exhibited at this show and would like to thank all the visitors who braved the cold wind to make the show a success.  This was the 10th year of the show and the organisers to celebrated provided plants to the Firle Estate.  The Head Gardener chose to have some fruit trees to start renewing the walled garden orchard.  The Head Gardener and a representative from the Woodland Trust planted a fruit tree each day supplied by Sussex Fruit Trees.

They chose a Onward pear to cross pollinate with the wall trained pears, Opal plum and a Sussex variety of apple, Hawkridge, originally from Hellingly, not far from Firle.

Hole Park Snowdrop Day

Hole Park in Kent near Rolvenden will be open to the public to view the gardens and also a group of specialist nurseries ‘The Plant Fairs Roadshow’ will be exhibiting. Sunday 5th February 2017.

Gardeners’ Question Time – 22nd September 2016

At All Saints’ Church, Old Heathfield, East Sussex, at 7.30pm September 22nd a Gardeners’ Question Time is taking place.  A panel of four horticulturalists, (two nursery men, a garden designer and myself) are taking questions.  Tea and coffee available. £5 tickets from Jean 01435 86 37 84 or on the door.
