A great ornamental tree originally from Iran. They have a spreading and weeping habit. With white flowers, most unusual fruit and beautiful autumn colours. Fruits are left on the tree until they have ‘bletted’, semi-rotten, can be eaten fresh or cooked. Medlars enjoy a warm sheltered spot.
